Day 14
Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty expanse. Praise Him for His mighty deeds; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness. Praise Him with trumpet sound; praise Him with harp and lyre. Praise Him with timbrel and dancing; praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe. Praise Him with loud cymbals; praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! Psalm 150
The music note reminds us to praise the God of our salvation.
PRAYER: O Lord, let the whole earth sound forth with Your praises. Amen.

I gotta ‘ tell ya’ – I’m getting tired of crocheting back and forth – it’s time to try something different. So, 2013 is going to be about knitting slippers. Well, actually…that’s not completely true. Starting on January 1st, I’m going to begin the daily creation of a “sky/sunset” blanket – that is, I’m going to take a picture of the sunset every night and crochet one row of the blanket the same color as the sunset. This is going to be an ongoing, one year project and we’ll see where this conglomeration of 365 sunset colors takes me.

Tonight, our grandson, Phoenie, is coming to stay for the weekend. That means, decorating the Christmas tree and going to a big Christmas party at Chris’ work tomorrow. It’s going to be a fun weekend together but my mind is on what happened in Connecticut this morning. I just learned that twenty innocent children were killed at an elementary school. Twenty innocent children who were looking forward to the same things – Christmas tree decorating and parties.
This world is not a safe place.
Somehow, blogging doesn’t seem very important right now.
How to even fathom the grief. God help them deal with the fact that lives are forever changed. Precious children to our Heavenly Father , but innocent children, robbed of life and futures. Praying…..

Unbelievable tragedy…my thoughts and prayers to the families of these precious children and adults. May God surround them with love and comfort as they try to deal with this life changing event. ‘Mrs.B’

It is soooo heartbreaking… but un-new to our GOD…remember why Joseph and Mary fled from Bethlehem? Herod killing babies~ Evil is in our world and knowing our God IS in control even in such horrid times is all that gives me hope!
